Love this one! Why, oh why, do brands reformulate/redesign something that people love ... just to make it worse? That has happened to me so many times.

I like the Miley song, too. Basic can also be great sometimes.

And Bake Squad is my favorite cooking/baking show because of the whole "we're all artists, so let's cheer each other on" vibe. We could use more of that attitude in this world.

As for "social recession," I'd enjoy reading your thoughts about it, for sure. Just don't try the 8-minute phone call thing with me, haha! XO Mom

Guess what? Not only did Glossier piss everyone off by changing the formula (which is getting bad reviews), they've also upped the price without letting people know. Yikes. People are pisssssed.

Yes to 'we're all artists, so let's cheer each other on' vibes! We do need more of that.

Haha, don't worry, but I already have two 8-min called lined up so will report back on how they go :)

I will never understand this business practice. It's like with Netflix and their "solution" to password sharing. Do these people even pay attention to what their customers say, do or want? If they see that password sharing is a problem for them, maybe they ought not to punish their customers but come up with a creative solution that people will LOVE. Same with Glossier. If they needed to change the formula or even raise the price for a valid reason, then tell people that. Don't just ask people to go along with it. A company I've bought from for a year or so hadn't raised their prices in 8 years! So they sent out an email and explained exactly why they were raising prices (understandable) and allowed people time to buy as much as they wanted before the prices went up.

10000000%. Also customers are just smarter these days. Companies should just realize that and be honest about what they're doing. It'll go a long way, I think.
